About Tiffani
Tiffani Walker is an accomplished hospitality and event management professional with more than 15 years of experience leading operations, marketing initiatives, and corporate events throughout Texas. As Events Operations Manager at West Hospitality Group, she oversees daily business operations while managing an average of 15 events each month, including weddings, corporate functions, galas, luncheons, fashion shows, and private celebrations. Her expertise spans event logistics, talent acquisition, client relationship management, banquet operations, marketing strategy, Salesforce initiatives, and operational planning, enabling her to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences and successful events. Throughout her career, Tiffani has held leadership roles across hospitality, nonprofit organizations, and private event management, developing a well-rounded background in business development, marketing, sales, food and beverage operations, and luxury event coordination. Her previous experience includes serving as Director of Special Events at The Brookwood Community, where she organized fundraising galas and donor events for high-profile supporters, and as Marketing Special Event Coordinator, where she significantly increased revenue and digital engagement through strategic marketing and community partnerships. She also brings experience in commercial real estate and holds certifications in TABC, Food Handling, and Real Estate. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Tiffani is passionate about serving her community through organizations such as HOPE Impacts, the National PTA, BNI, the Katy Lions Club and MedRite. She is committed to mentoring others and hopes to inspire young women through public speaking focused on entrepreneurship, career development, leadership, and motherhood. 01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women to keep their heads up and not allow outside opinions to distract them from their goals. Don't take advice from people whose lives or values you don't aspire to emulate—whether spiritually, mentally, or physically. Stay focused on your own journey, believe in yourself, and continue pursuing your goals with confidence. I also hope to inspire other women through public speaking by sharing my experiences with entrepreneurship, career growth, and motherhood.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest opportunities in hospitality and event management is creating memorable experiences through innovation, operational excellence, and strategic marketing. Successfully managing multiple events, adapting to changing client expectations, building talented teams, and implementing systems that improve efficiency are essential to long-term success in the industry.
