Her Story
About Tiffany
I have been working in human resources for over 15 years, and my journey has taken me through many different industries and roles. I started my career working in retail and leadership very early on, which then transitioned to the medical field. That's when I officially pursued my education credentials in human resource management and organizational leadership. I also have a pretty intense wellness background, so a lot of my operations experience and additional leadership experience has been across several different fitness and wellness brands. Prior to my current role, I was in talent acquisition in the corporate banking field for a little over 3 years. Now, I'm in organizational development with the people team at 24 Hour Home Care, where I started in January 2025. In this role, I'm responsible for designing and implementing training programs, new initiatives, and processes for the organization, and it's heavily reliant on partnerships across the broader scope of the organization to meet the needs of what various teams within the business are actually needing. I think the roots of all of these things is it just comes down to helping people and ultimately improving whatever it is in the environment that is supporting that infrastructure to be a greater and better success. I'm also an entrepreneur and have been since about 2015. I've designed wellness retreats, programs, and various events and experiences over the last decade. Having an entrepreneurial spirit and the opportunity to design programs while building relationships and being able to further influence and drive what matters in an everyday workforce has made me more successful than I would have been without one or the other.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I think I'm also an entrepreneur, and I have been an entrepreneur since about 2015. For most of this time, I've also held some type of formal position for a company or another business. But I think having an entrepreneurial spirit and having the opportunity to sort of design programs and various events and experiences over the last decade in conjunction with really building relationships and being able to further influence and drive what matters in an everyday workforce - those two things together, I feel like have made me more successful than I would have been without one or the other. So if I wasn't also an entrepreneur, I don't feel like my corporate career would be as successful, and then if I was only an entrepreneur, and I didn't have my corporate experience, I also don't feel like my entrepreneurial ventures would have seen the success that they have as well.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say to her that if she is in a position where she really has a heart of service, that this is a really great career segment to get involved with. I think that human resources is such a broad term, and my own career over the last 15 years can really show that through the plethora of roles and avenues and even industries that I've applied the knowledge to, but what I mentioned earlier is that at the center of it, at the heart of it, really is the people and being able to show up and make a difference in their lives. So, if you are somebody that genuinely wants to connect with other people, and you can get behind whatever their concerns or their problems might be, and you want to play an active part in either providing or even building the solutions for that for them, you're really gonna wake up every day and enjoy what you're doing. So, if you're looking for something that isn't so connected to people at the forefront, I would say that human resources is probably not the best avenue, but if you are somebody that genuinely has that drive to connect and to help other people improve things in their life, then this is a really good avenue to do that.
