About Tiffany
My career in finance spans about 27 years, beginning with a transformative summer job at the Village of Elmhurst's finance department. There, I was mentored by the county manager and discovered I had a natural aptitude for accounting, catching on to everything really quickly. This experience shaped my decision to pursue accounting in college. I took a non-traditional path as a career student, balancing work and education. I started at Consumer Credit Counseling Services, then moved to Peerless Industries, who supported my education by helping me pay for college at DePaul University. Because I was already earning good money, I took my time completing my degree, finally graduating with my accounting degree in 2010. Today, I serve as a senior cost accountant for R.R. Donnelly, a position I was just recently promoted to. In this role, I oversee reports, ensure cost aligns with revenue, conduct research, and make sure we balance at the end of each month. I'm fortunate to work with a professional team that has extensive experience. Beyond my professional work, I'm passionate about giving back to the community where I grew up. I lived in Cabrini-Green until I was a teenager before attending high school in Villa Park, and now I serve as a mentor and tutor for Cabrini Connections, helping young people from that same community.
