What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the guidance and support of mentors like Ann Levy, William Kip Gary, and Jennifer Gardner. I also credit my commitment to consistency, embracing challenges, and maintaining integrity, as well as the privilege of mentoring others and celebrating their successes.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
To get comfortable being uncomfortable. If you are comfortable you are not growing.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say staying consistent and staying focused. Doing the dozens of boring but necessary steps to move forward. What most people aren't is consistent.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Debunking the myths that Procurement or Supply Chain Management aren't growth levers but are just cost centers bogged down with approvals and processes designed to control and slow down the buying process.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values in my work and personal life are family, integrity, and nurturing the growth and well-being of my two children.
