I attribute my success to a focus on creating meaningful impact rather than simply achieving numbers. For me, true success is defined by the difference I make, the value I add, and the positive outcomes that result from my work.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The advice I would give to young women entering my industry is to prioritize networking and relationship-building from the very beginning. Throughout my career, showing up—attending industry events, making meaningful connections, and staying engaged long after the initial introduction—has been a constant driver of growth. While credentials and designations are valuable, I’ve found that true influence comes from authenticity, consistency, and the genuine relationships you build along the way.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I’ve observed in my field is the gender bias that can surface in IT and in-person sales. Early in my career, I often faced situations we call “cold walking,” where I would visit a business without an appointment, only to have male professionals insist on speaking with a male manager instead. While these experiences can be challenging, I’ve learned that demonstrating expertise, confidence, and results consistently breaks down those barriers. The opportunity lies in proving that ability and knowledge, showing that performance and professionalism matter far more than gender.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are connection, authenticity, and balance. I’ve always valued building and nurturing relationships, whether in my career or personal life, as I believe strong connections are the foundation of meaningful success. Outside of work, I stay grounded by spending time near the water—fishing or enjoying beach days—which gives me the space to reset, reflect, and stay connected to what truly matters.
