Her Interview

Ten minutes with Tiffany

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my unwavering belief in people and my conviction that everyone deserves another chance. Throughout my career, I have focused on helping individuals recognize their potential, rebuild their confidence, and move forward regardless of their past. Watching students transform their lives through education continues to inspire my commitment to creating opportunities that empower others to succeed.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is that everyone deserves a second chance. That principle has guided my leadership philosophy and reminds me to approach every student and colleague with compassion, patience, and the belief that people can grow, change, and achieve meaningful success.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women entering education to maintain a healthy work-life balance. This profession is incredibly rewarding, but it also requires dedication and resilience. Taking care of yourself allows you to better support others, remain passionate about your work, and build a long, fulfilling career while making a positive impact on the lives of your students.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the greatest challenges facing adult education today is limited funding and budget constraints compared to traditional K–12 education, along with facility limitations and the complexities of educational policy. Despite these challenges, adult education offers tremendous opportunities to transform lives by providing students with pathways to earn diplomas, develop career skills, improve English proficiency, and build brighter futures.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I believe deeply in people and in giving everyone a second chance. I value compassion, hope, and the opportunity to help individuals transform their lives through education. My goal is to build confidence in others, encourage lifelong learning, and create an environment where every person feels supported, respected, and capable of achieving success.
