Her Story

About Tiffany

Tiffany Ezepue is a PM&R physician specializing in pain medicine. She attended Rutgers New Brunswick for college and remained with the Rutgers system for medical school at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark. During her training, she gained exposure to PM&R through interest groups and programs connected to Kessler, which helped solidify her interest in the field over orthopedic surgery. She values the holistic approach to patient care, focusing on quality of life and helping individuals regain functionality after injuries such as car accidents, heart attacks, sports injuries, cancer, or brain injuries. Tiffany currently works per diem with Penn Medicine on weekends in an inpatient rehab facility, collaborating with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to support patients' rehabilitation goals. She is also pursuing a pain medicine role to perform minimally invasive interventions for conditions affecting the back, shoulders, and knees. Her path included overcoming personal challenges during college, with family hardships and mental health, before graduating and advancing to medical school. She participated in the ODASIS program at Rutgers, which provided support for minority students in STEM fields pursuing medicine.
