Her Story

About Tiffany

I've always been a people person with empathy for everyone. I try to put myself in everyone's shoes, no matter the situation. People have recently told me I have perseverance, which is really an honor. From a young age, I worked for my dad's company doing customer service, answering phones and talking to customers, until he passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2010. After that, I was a stay-at-home mom, and then I worked at Legacy, a non-profit organization that helps people with utility assistance and other services. It was really cool to give back since they had helped me before. I decided to go back to school at age 40, starting with paralegal studies before switching to real estate. I'm graduating in December 2025 with my Associates of Applied Science and my real estate license. I'm the first person in my family to ever attend college. I live in Southeast Texas near the Gulf of Mexico in a small town where everybody knows everybody. I have connections through my dad's old clients and have been putting the word out there. I've already been to one brokerage and have a job waiting as soon as I get my license. Going back to school after so long is definitely my most notable professional achievement. I've been through a lot of struggles and roadblocks, but I always seem to get through them and keep pushing forward.

Ten minutes with Tiffany

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say the struggles have brought me to where I'm at right now. All of these things - losing my dad to pancreatic cancer in 2010, losing my mom, my brother-in-law committing suicide in 2019, and other traumatic experiences - they all played a big part of me coming to myself. I could have let those things beat me down and get me down all the way, and some people never come back from things like that. But I refuse to let anybody get the best of me. I just have to keep going. It only actually made me more fierce and made me drive harder, as opposed to tearing me down like it would other people. I've had roadblocks thrown up after roadblock after roadblock, and somehow I always seem to get through it, so I'm just gonna keep on pushing. People have told me I have perseverance, and that's really an honor.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Always give it your all. Always give it your all, because when there's a no, there's always gonna be a no. But just because things get thrown in there, and personal things and things like that - don't stop, because the sky isn't even a limit for me. You know that saying, sky's the limit? I don't feel like there's no sky. You just gotta keep going. If you feel deeply passionate about things, you always follow your gut, and you always follow your heart as well. And stay true to yourself. Stay true to yourself, and you'll do good in this world. If I can do it, trust me, anyone can do it.
