Her Interview

Ten minutes with Tiffany

01What do you attribute your success to?

My faith is what drives me. I rely on my faith, and before I start grading or teaching, I pray for my students to do well and achieve their best. That is what makes me good at my job.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Follow your passion and everything will fall into place.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Look for different mentors: one that may look like you, one that challenges you, and someone to help with balance between career and personal life. Reach out to people that could serve in these different mentorship roles.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

AI is a big challenge because students are using it to replace critical thinking skills instead of as a tool to generate thoughts and ideas.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty and integrity are very important to me, especially with the work that I do.
