About Tiffany

Tiffany Johnson serves as Senior IT Manager, Product Owner & Data Asset Manager of Customer Data at Procter & Gamble (P&G), where she leads the North America Customer Data Pipeline Innovation initiative. In this role, she oversees the management, governance, and delivery of critical customer and retailer data assets, ensuring trusted and high-quality data is published into P&G’s core data lake. With nearly a decade of experience in the data field, Tiffany specializes in master data management, data governance, process automation, and product ownership, helping organizations leverage data to drive informed business decisions and operational excellence.

Tiffany began her career in data in 2016 after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication from Ohio University in 2009. She developed her expertise as an analyst on the master data team at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, where she supported customer, vendor, and finance master data initiatives while improving data quality and business processes. She later advanced to leadership roles at Louisiana-Pacific Building Solutions, serving as IT Manager of Data Governance & Architecture and Data Governance & Process Owner. There, she rebuilt the master data team, automated processes using SAP solutions, and played a key role in supporting a large-scale SAP expansion into South American markets.

Throughout her career, Tiffany has remained committed to continuous learning and innovation, earning DAMA certification and completing PSP01 and Scrum Master training while exploring emerging technologies, including practical applications of artificial intelligence in data management. At P&G, she co-leads the Experience Hire Network and contributes to internal initiatives supporting women in IT, the LGBTQ+ community, and disability inclusion. Beyond her professional work, Tiffany volunteers with The Lucky Fin Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and supporting individuals and families impacted by limb differences. Her dedication to collaboration, inclusion, and purposeful technology solutions reflects her passion for creating meaningful impact through data.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Tiffany

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to hard work, dedication, and a commitment to continuous growth. I believe that consistently putting in the effort, staying open to learning, and taking on new challenges have allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. I have built my career by being dependable, embracing opportunities to improve processes, and maintaining a strong focus on delivering meaningful results. My willingness to collaborate, adapt, and remain committed to excellence has been instrumental in achieving my goals.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received was to keep going, especially during the most challenging moments. My former leader at Louisiana-Pacific encouraged me to stay resilient when facing obstacles, reminding me that persistence and determination can help you navigate even the toughest situations. I carry that advice with me today, knowing that challenges such as leadership changes, evolving priorities, and economic pressures are temporary, and that continued focus, adaptability, and perseverance will ultimately lead to growth and success.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the data and technology industry is to believe in their abilities, build confidence, and recognize the value they bring to the conversation. In a traditionally male-dominated field, it is important to find your voice, advocate for yourself, and ensure you have a seat at the table. I encourage women to build strong networks, seek out supportive communities, and champion one another’s growth. Throughout my career, I have made it a priority to mentor and support other women, helping create opportunities for them to advance, be recognized, and succeed in the industry.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are honesty, integrity, and building meaningful relationships. In my industry, it can be easy to overpromise by saying “yes, we can do that” when the reality may be more complex. I believe in having transparent conversations, clearly communicating what can be delivered, and explaining the reasons behind limitations to build trust with stakeholders. Strong relationships are the foundation of success, and I prioritize creating an environment built on reliability, respect, and open communication with colleagues and partners.
