01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to building genuine relationships, caring about people, and consistently providing exceptional customer service. I believe that taking the time to understand each client’s unique needs helps establish trust, strengthen relationships, and create long-term partnerships and repeat business. I also credit my success to remaining flexible, working hard, and continually pursuing personal growth through education and new experiences.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received has come from the supervisors, colleagues, clients, and professionals I have had the opportunity to work with throughout my career in the hospitality industry. Each of these experiences has taught me valuable lessons, shaped my leadership style, and strengthened my ability to build meaningful, lasting relationships with both customers and colleagues. I also greatly value the support and encouragement I have received throughout my educational journey, which has played an important role in my personal and professional growth.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is not to be too hard on themselves or become their own biggest critics. It is important to recognize that you do not have to carry everything alone, and asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. I also encourage women to establish healthy boundaries, prioritize their well-being, and give themselves the same patience and grace they would extend to others.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in the hospitality industry is balancing the many responsibilities involved in managing clients, events, logistics, and daily operations while continuing to provide exceptional customer service. At the same time, I believe the industry offers tremendous opportunities for individuals who genuinely enjoy serving others, building meaningful relationships, and creating memorable experiences. I also see entrepreneurship as an exciting opportunity to expand my impact within the catering industry and explore new ways to grow professionally.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are compassion, authenticity, hard work, balance, and meaningful relationships. I believe true success is built on treating people with kindness, empathy, and respect while maintaining strong professional standards and a commitment to excellence. I also believe it is important to recognize my personal limits, establish healthy boundaries, and ask for help when needed rather than trying to carry every responsibility alone.
