Her Interview

Ten minutes with Tiffany

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the values instilled in me by my father, who taught me the importance of independence, perseverance, and never settling for limitations. His guidance encouraged me to be self-sufficient, confident in my abilities, and committed to creating my own path, especially as a woman in the workforce. These principles have shaped my approach to leadership, allowing me to embrace challenges, advocate for myself, and continuously strive for growth and excellence throughout my career.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is the importance of patience, continuous learning, and understanding the business beyond simply following policies and processes. I learned that effective human resources leaders must evolve with the organization’s needs, develop a strong understanding of the business, and serve as strategic partners rather than remaining focused only on traditional HR functions. This mindset has guided me throughout my career, allowing me to adapt to change, build meaningful partnerships, and create solutions that support both employees and organizational success.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges and opportunities in human resources today involve adapting to the rapid advancement of technology, particularly artificial intelligence and data analytics. HR professionals must continue evolving by developing skills in data storytelling and using insights to create solutions-oriented strategies that address complex business challenges. I believe the future of HR lies in demonstrating measurable impact, connecting people strategies to organizational goals, and becoming trusted business partners. For young women entering the field, I encourage them to focus on the value and influence of their work rather than seeking recognition, as HR professionals play a critical role in shaping workplace culture, supporting employees, and driving organizational success—even when their contributions may not always be visible.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, honesty, and trust. I believe these principles are the foundation for building meaningful relationships, fostering collaboration, and creating strong partnerships. By leading with authenticity and staying true to my values, I strive to create an environment where people feel respected, valued, and confident. These guiding principles have shaped the way I approach leadership, decision-making, and engagement with others throughout my personal and professional journey.
