Her Story

About Tiffany

I've been with MyJet for going on 13 years now, working side-by-side with my mom, who is the president of the company. I came on board right when the product was in the beta development stage, helping to sell to our first initial customers for testing. My mom and her partner, who were both engineers at Kodak, founded the company together. He was the inventor who noticed that operators in manufacturing shops were taking parts out of machines and spraying them off with compressed air, creating a universal problem. When he couldn't find a solution, he invented the MyJet. My mom took care of all the paperwork, the patterns, and they built this whole company together side by side. I handle logistics and operations, which includes everything from purchasing to packaging to shipping and all the international documentation. We now sell all over the world. I believe in what we're doing because the product we're providing is good and necessary and keeps people healthier in the shop environment.

Ten minutes with Tiffany

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to just believing in what I'm doing. I think the product that we're providing is good and necessary, and keeps people healthier in the shop environment. I also like things for myself, and in order to provide for myself, I have to work. So that drive to provide for myself and my family, combined with truly believing in the value of what we're creating, keeps me pushing forward.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My best advice is just to continue to work hard, even when no one's looking. That's what has served me well throughout my career, and I think it's essential for anyone starting out in any industry.
