Tiffany Strong Salaam

Tiffany Strong-Salaam has approximately 20 years of experience in human resources. She began her career supporting the Wisconsin Welfare to Work program at a for-profit organization, assisting individuals with job placement, interviewing, and opportunities through local community organizations. She then served as a recruiter and coordinator at a small beverage bottling company with worldwide recognition, managing recruitment, orientation, onboarding, exit interviews, compensation, and union agreement negotiations in a union versus non-union environment. Tiffany transitioned into the learning and development space at a casino, where she was promoted by the general manager, before moving to a university role in the philanthropic and advancement department focused on talent development, performance management, and learning. After her university position was eliminated, she led a healthcare grant at a smaller nonprofit, then became an HR business partner for the county supporting airport and fleet departments. She has worked in healthcare HR ever since. Tiffany Strong-Salaam holds a PhD in Education and Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University awarded in 2015, a master's degree in adult education, instructional design, and organizational development from Alverno College, and a bachelor's degree in public administration and political finance from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.
