Her Story

About Tiffany

Tiffany Sugranes is a strategic sales leader and Sales Supervisor in the luxury cruise travel industry, currently with Seabourn Cruise Line. She brings more than 20 years of sales experience to her leadership role, including more than two decades in the insurance industry, where she advised clients through complex financial and coverage decisions. She later transitioned into the travel industry, where she has spent approximately three years focused on consumer cruise sales. In her current role, she leads and develops sales consultants, focusing on sales performance, revenue growth, client engagement, operational excellence, and the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. Tiffany is particularly passionate about coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams. She leads with empathy while maintaining accountability and strives to create an environment where team members feel valued, supported, energized, and motivated to grow. One of her proudest professional accomplishments has been moving over from Holland America to Seabourn and help lead a team in 2025 that was not consistently meeting its sales goals and helping transform its performance. Under her leadership, the team has consistently exceeded its goals, with multiple agents achieving million-dollar sales months. Her leadership and collaborative approach were also recognized through the We Win as a Team Award, an achievement she considers meaningful because it reflects the importance she places on teamwork and collective success. Tiffany holds property and casualty as well as life and health insurance licenses from her previous career and maintains an IATA certification as part of her work in the travel industry. Her professional philosophy is grounded in honesty, resilience, authenticity, continuous learning, and giving oneself grace throughout the growth process. She credits extensive training, openness to learning, and great mentors for helping shape her career. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and is a mother of five. Through her leadership, she continues to focus on empowering others, strengthening sales performance, and helping people recognize their ability to achieve more than they may initially believe possible.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Tiffany

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to extensive training, remaining open to learning, and having great mentors throughout my career. I believe that continually developing my skills, being willing to learn from others, and surrounding myself with people who provide guidance and encouragement have all played an important role in my professional growth.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received is to give yourself grace. I have learned that professional growth, transitions, and challenges are part of the journey, and it is important to give yourself the space to learn, adapt, and improve rather than expecting perfection from yourself at every stage.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

If this industry is your passion and something you genuinely want to pursue, my advice is to go for it. Be open to learning, seek out good mentors who can guide and support you, and give yourself grace along the way. You do not have to know everything from the beginning. Stay curious, continue developing your skills, and allow yourself the opportunity to grow through every experience.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in luxury travel today is keeping the human connection at the center of the experience while technology and AI continue to change how we work. Guests have more information, more choices, and higher expectations than ever before. Technology can make us faster and more efficient, but in luxury travel, relationships, trust, and personalized service are still what truly differentiate the experience.

I also see a tremendous opportunity in how we develop and empower our employees. I strongly believe that the employee experience directly impacts the guest experience. When people feel valued, supported, well trained, and empowered to make decisions, they are better equipped to create exceptional experiences for our guests.

The organizations that will stand out are the ones that successfully combine data and technology with genuine human connection. We should use innovation to make our people better at what they do, not lose the personal relationships that make luxury hospitality special.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty, resilience, and being my most authentic self are the values that are most important to me. I believe in being genuine in how I interact with others, staying resilient when challenges arise, and maintaining honesty and integrity in both my professional and personal relationships.
