I attribute my success to realizing that smart people recognize when they don’t know something and asking for help when resources are available. I also focus on maintaining professionalism, integrity, and skill in every case I handle.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
My mentor, Attorney John Ramirez, the founding partner of Bush and Ramirez, gave me invaluable guidance. His mentorship shaped my career and inspired me to pursue excellence in litigation.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don’t listen to naysayers—the field of law is not oversaturated despite what you’ll hear. There are so many opportunities, so go for it with confidence. We need more women lawyers!
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Professionalism, integrity, and skill are core to my work. I also value building strong relationships, being good to people, and giving back to the community whenever possible.
