What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the recognition I’ve received throughout my career, including being named Property Manager of the Year and earning the Volunteering Award two years in a row. My mentor, Michael Krauss, once told me, "You are going to be someone someday," and that encouragement has stayed with me throughout my journey.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received came from my father: “If you find something you really enjoy, you will never work a day in your life.” That simple wisdom has shaped the way I approach my work, ensuring that passion and purpose drive my daily efforts.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
For young women entering the industry, my advice is to be ambitious, build strong networks, and actively seek mentors. These connections provide guidance, support, and opportunities that are crucial for growth and success.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in the industry is navigating fluctuating markets and rent capping, as there are often too many spaces and not enough people to fill them. These challenges require resilience, strategic thinking, and adaptability to maintain strong performance.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value hard work, a principle instilled in me by my father, and I believe in setting clear goals and giving back to the community. Contributing to the community is not just a responsibility—it’s a central part of my personal and professional ethos.
