What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to persistence and resilience. I never give up, no matter how many challenges I face. When I encounter setbacks, I turn them into opportunities for growth and keep moving forward. This mindset, instilled in me by my mother, has allowed me to stay focused, remain positive, and continuously push toward my goals.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to not stress over challenges and to stay grounded through faith. I’ve learned to approach situations with calmness and trust that things will work out, while continuing to move forward with determination and purpose.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is to never give up and to keep pushing forward, regardless of obstacles. The technology field has historically been male-dominated, and I experienced that firsthand as the only female technician for many years. However, persistence is key—if you continue striving and putting yourself out there, your efforts will eventually be recognized.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges is individuals holding themselves back by not speaking up or fully demonstrating their capabilities. Many people have the knowledge but hesitate to share it. At the same time, there is a significant opportunity to create more space for women in technology, encouraging inclusion and allowing more voices to be heard in the industry.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values in my life are faith, resilience, and self-belief. I prioritize putting God first, maintaining a strong sense of prayer, and staying positive regardless of circumstances. I also believe deeply in trusting myself and remaining confident in my abilities, as these principles guide both my professional journey and personal growth.
