Her Interview

Ten minutes with Tina

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to faith in God, hard work, never giving up, and the values my parents instilled in me. My father always said the game doesn't change, the players do, and to put your big girl boots on and go back out there and get it. I believe everything works out for the greater good.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was to keep going and never give up. A boss at the National Institutes of Health told me that time is going to pass whether you go back to school or not, so why let it go to waste. Also, from the movie The Intern: you have to keep going.
