Her Interview

Ten minutes with Tina

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to hard work, dedication, and the guidance of my mentor, Pamela Roberts. Having someone who believed in me, challenged me, and provided valuable insight throughout my journey has been instrumental in my growth and success.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the most meaningful lessons I’ve learned is the importance of prioritizing what truly matters in life. Taking care of my brother was a significant responsibility and an important part of my journey. That experience shaped my perspective, strengthened my sense of compassion, and reminded me of the importance of being present for the people who matter most.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Come into the industry with a willingness to listen and learn. One of the most important skills you can develop is the ability to absorb what others are teaching you and apply those lessons along the way. Strong communication skills are essential, and it’s important to remember that making mistakes is part of growth. Embrace those moments as opportunities to learn and improve.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges right now is navigating reduced resources while continuing to deliver high-quality service. With recent organizational changes and staffing reductions, many teams are being asked to do more with fewer resources. The opportunity is finding new ways to collaborate, adapt, and continue providing exceptional experiences for customers despite those challenges.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me most are respect, empowerment, and compassion. I believe in treating every person with kindness and dignity. I’m passionate about empowering women and celebrating the confidence that comes from embracing who you are. While I appreciate fashion as a form of self-expression, I believe true beauty comes from within and is reflected in how we treat others.
