Her Interview
Ten minutes with Tina
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the mentors and support systems who have guided me throughout my life. My husband of 34 years has been a tremendous mentor, encouraging me to think outside the box and approach business with a broader perspective. I also credit my mother, who has always been a strong source of support and inspiration.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received comes from the many mentors and professional relationships that have shaped my journey. I value the guidance I have gained from others and am passionate about paying it forward by mentoring women entering industries where female leadership has traditionally been underrepresented.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to find their place, trust their abilities, and have the confidence to use their voice. Stand up for what you believe in, embrace your strengths, and recognize that your creativity, perspective, and ability to multitask are valuable assets. Your ideas matter, and the industry needs your unique contributions.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field is increasing female representation in traditionally male-dominated industries. However, I see great opportunities as more women take on leadership roles and help shape the future of the industry.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are integrity, lifelong learning, helping others succeed, family, collaboration, and building meaningful relationships. I believe true success is measured not only by personal achievements but by the positive impact we make on others. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, reading, writing, and spending meaningful time with my family.
