About Tina
I started with a design background in textile and fashion design, then pursued retail technology at the National Institute of Fast and Technology in New Delhi. I worked 12-13 years as a buyer for retailers, building teams and managing P&Ls before moving to the US in 2015. There I diversified into consulting, bridging business and technology with a focus on people, process, and technology. I earned a master's from SCAD in luxury and asset management with a dissertation on business process and supply chain.

01What do you attribute your success to?
The drive to give it back and create value for others, leaving a legacy through meaningful work. This comes from the SGI philosophy of value creation and making a positive impact, even small gestures like bringing a smile to someone's day.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Never stop chasing your ambitions and create value each day
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never stop learning. Keep yourself abreast with new developments like AI, as things change rapidly and you may need to learn new tools from scratch.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Biggest challenge in today’s market has been to bridge the understanding the actual AI application in work force.
There are many more people applying than actual roles.
