Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received is to advocate for yourself. That's something I think is so important. The other piece of advice that really resonates with me, especially for women, is to keep taking the next steps. Sometimes we get stuck because life is challenging - whether it's family, health, or whatever the case may be. But if you keep taking the next steps and keep moving forward, before you look up, you may not necessarily be where you thought you'd be, but you're going to be further ahead than where you were if you would have just stayed where you were. So, take the next steps.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Honestly, I would tell younger women entering my industry to don't stop. I know that life can be challenging, and yes, you want to take the next step, but if you can, don't stop. I think oftentimes you just look at your life and you feel overwhelmed, but my advice is simple: don't stop. Keep pushing forward no matter what challenges come your way.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are integrity and being a woman of my word. I think it's very important to be a person who can be trustworthy, honest, and integral, whether people are watching you or not. I'm a woman of faith, and these principles guide everything I do. Being someone others can count on and maintaining my integrity in all situations is fundamental to who I am.
