About Tisha
She is an executive consultant, nonprofit operations leader, and public housing executive with experience in organizational turnaround, strategic planning, board governance, grant management, policy advocacy, compliance, financial oversight, and housing operations. She currently serves as Executive Consultant with Women Who Never Give Up, Inc., supporting operational structure, funding strategy, legislative advocacy, and program development. Previously, she served as Executive Director of the Irvington Township Housing Authority, leading agency recovery, HUD compliance, department creation, staff management, redevelopment projects, and housing voucher operations.

01What do you attribute your success to?
The foundation my parents instilled in me to keep hustling, never settle, and putting my faith first. Also driven by my children.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Trust your gut and go with your instincts. Be the leader you always wanted to lead you. Lead with truth and respect. Don't take everything personally because it's not personal.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Funding and access to funding for non-profits and housing initiatives.
