Her Story
About Toni
Toni Andres is the Partnerships Lead for North America and Latin America at Dynamic Yield by Mastercard, a position she has held since November 2024. In this role, she drives co-sell relationships with technology partners, systems integrators, and agencies, working closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to build pipeline and expand Mastercard's partnership ecosystem. Her career took shape in 2009 when she entered direct sales, before transitioning into partnerships in 2015—a shift that would come to define her professional path.
Over the course of her career, Andres has built partnership programs from scratch on multiple occasions. She spent nearly nine years at Tealium, rising from an early sales role to leading the company's strategic partnership function, where she worked alongside cloud providers to expand market reach. She later joined Split, where she built the company's partnership program from the ground up, forging key alliances with industry leaders such as AWS and Microsoft Azure within just six months of launching the initiative. This foundation carried into her current work at Dynamic Yield, now part of Mastercard, where she continues to focus on scalable, high-impact partnership strategy.
Andres holds a Bachelor of Science in Global Business Management and Leadership with a marketing emphasis from Arizona State University, along with an MBA in Management Information Systems from Northcentral University. She has been recognized throughout her career with multiple President's Club honors, Top Sales Representative and Top Partner Sales Manager awards at Tealium, and a Top Partner Sales Representative title in North America during her first year at Mastercard. An active Expert in Residence within the Partnership Leaders community since 2019, she is also committed to giving back, having supported causes such as the Ronald McDonald House and local beach cleanups, and having helped launch the Tealium Cares volunteer initiative.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Toni
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the mentors and leaders who believed in me and gave me the trust and support to grow, combined with the hands-on experience I gained by starting in direct sales and evolving into partnerships. Building the partner program at Split from the ground up—and establishing relationships with major partners like AWS and Microsoft Azure within six months—taught me that success comes from consistency, mutual value, and strong communication. My time at Tealium, where I helped develop co-selling initiatives with cloud providers, further reinforced that partnerships are built one relationship at a time, and my educational background gave me a strong foundation for approaching business strategically.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Some of the most valuable career advice I've received has come from the CEO who hired me as one of the earliest members of a growing team, from leaders within the Partnership Leaders community, and from a current Vice President of Sales who followed a similar career path to mine. Their guidance shaped how I think about building authentic relationships and staying engaged with the broader partner ecosystem.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage anyone entering the partnerships field to build a strong network and actively seek out mentors. Take time to understand how the broader partner ecosystem works, be strategic about which partner types you focus on, and don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Organizations like Partnership Leaders have been invaluable to my own growth, and I'd tell young women to maximize networking opportunities and get involved in mentorship programs and partner communities to accelerate their learning.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field is finding and qualifying the right partners while cutting through the noise—especially within a large organization like Mastercard. Navigating the rapid pace of industry change, including the rise of AI, and distinguishing partners who will genuinely advance alongside our products from those who simply add noise, is an ongoing challenge and opportunity.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
As both a business leader and a mother, I've come to deeply value balance, resilience, and surrounding myself with people who help me grow. My career has been built one relationship at a time, and I remain passionate about creating partnerships that generate meaningful impact for businesses, customers, and communities alike. Giving back is equally important to me—I've volunteered with organizations like Ronald McDonald House and participated in beach cleanups, and I helped establish the Tealium Cares program to give employees more opportunities to serve their communities together.
