Accomplished media executive, public affairs leader, and community advocate with extensive experience in communications, civic engagement, and social justice storytelling. Founder, Executive Producer, and Host of Brooklyn Savvy, a long-running talk show dedicated to informing, inspiring, and activating communities through meaningful dialogue on social justice, diversity, equity, inclusion, and community wellbeing.
Through Brooklyn Savvy and related initiatives under The Women’s Collective for Social Justice, leads conversations that amplify underrepresented voices, address structural barriers, and promote positive social change across New York communities and beyond. Recognized for leveraging media and storytelling as tools for education, advocacy, and civic empowerment.
Previously served for more than three decades as Director of Public Affairs at Con Edison, leading community and government relations initiatives throughout Brooklyn. Played a key role in strengthening relationships between the organization, local government, and diverse community stakeholders while advancing public engagement and corporate communication efforts.
Holds a background in public health education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and completed executive utility leadership studies at the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School.
Known for combining media leadership, public affairs expertise, and community advocacy to create impactful conversations, foster civic engagement, and champion social equity initiatives.
