What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my faith in God, which guides my decisions, grounds my values, and gives me strength and direction throughout my journey.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to be intentional and selective with professional memberships. Only join organizations where you can actively participate, contribute, and build meaningful relationships. It’s more valuable to be deeply engaged in a few communities than to spread yourself thin across many memberships you won’t fully utilize.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in my field right now is the financial and time burden associated with multiple membership fees. It requires careful consideration to prioritize where to invest limited resources, ensuring that both time and money are directed toward the organizations and opportunities that provide the most meaningful value and impact.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity and authenticity are most important to me. I believe in being genuine rather than just making things look good on the surface. When I commit to something, I want to truly be engaged and active, not just pay fees to have my name associated with it. I'm committed to being able to demonstrate real impact through my work - being helpful, contributing to decisions, and staying the course with the organizations I choose to be part of. I'd rather have one meaningful commitment where I'm making a difference than multiple memberships where I'm not really involved.
