Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of perseverance, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping others thrive. Over the past 20 years, I have built and sustained an entrepreneurial career that has earned recognition from the National Minority Supplier Development Council and accolades for my volunteer work assisting college students in preparing for the workforce. I am proud of the diverse clients and industries I’ve served, as well as the coaching practice I have developed from the ground up into a trusted and respected resource.

On a daily basis, I balance project work, coaching sessions, content development, and the management of my team of contractors, all while navigating the rewarding challenges of motherhood as a busy mom to twin girls. My days demand strategic planning, flexibility, and strong prioritization, which have strengthened both my professional and personal resilience.

I am the founder of a coaching and consulting company that serves both corporate clients and individuals. I specialize in life coaching, change management, leadership development, and organizational transformation, often supporting people through major transitions and reinvention. My professional journey began in software development, but I quickly discovered a passion for training and learning development. In 2002, I transitioned fully into training, and by 2017, I expanded into change management. After being told I was “more billable as a developer,” I took it as a sign to build something of my own, ultimately founding my consulting company, which I have grown and nurtured for over two decades.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to think beyond what society defines as “normal.” I encourage women to embrace innovation, take calculated risks, and trust themselves—even when pursuing a path that may look different from others. Entrepreneurship requires courage, vision, and a willingness to explore new possibilities, and I believe that trusting your instincts and staying true to your goals is key to creating meaningful success.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is identifying new opportunities and staying ahead of rapidly evolving industry trends, especially in a space where competition and innovation move quickly. At the same time, balancing the demands of running a business with family responsibilities requires intentional structure, discipline, and careful prioritization. These challenges also present opportunities to grow, innovate, and strengthen both professional and personal resilience.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are growth, curiosity, integrity, reinvention, and service. I believe in constantly evolving, exploring new opportunities, refusing to be boxed in, and leading by example—especially for women learning to reinvent themselves. Outside of work, I enjoy raising my daughters, engaging in continuous learning, and listening to podcasts like Momentum Advisors and The Model Health Show. Personal development, mindfulness, and quality time with my family are central to my life and inform the way I approach everything I do.
