Tonya Kish

Tonya Kish serves as Director of Life Enrichment at an assisted living community in Butte, Montana. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, she began her career performing kitchen duties before advancing through roles in front desk operations, payroll, and medical records during an internship. She earned two associate's degrees in Accounting and Business from Montana Tech, along with the Outstanding Achievement Award in Business Technology and membership in Phi Theta Kappa. In her current role, Tonya plans excursions, activities, and shopping trips to foster meaningful engagement for residents while leading a team of six activity assistants and drivers, emphasizing strong retention and collaborative leadership. She has received the Enrichment of Life Award from the Montana Healthcare Association in 2020 and maintains certifications through the National Association of Activity Professionals. Tonya contributes to her community as a board member of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program since 2010 and through her work with Area 5 Southwest Montana Aging and Disability Services since 2016, including organizing the annual Senior Fun Fair. She is expanding her influence by developing her writing voice, networking with industry peers, and preparing to speak at the Montana healthcare conference.
