About Tonya
Tonya Prince serves as an engagement strategist advocating for individuals, patients, and families impacted by rare diseases across the country. As a patient advocacy strategist to biopharma technology companies and pharmaceutical companies, she brings over a decade of experience in director, senior director, and senior leadership positions within the biopharma space. Tonya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology, having attended Texas Southern University and graduated from Ashworth College. She also possesses certifications in business strategy and artificial integration from Johns Hopkins University, as well as in understanding drug development and pipeline. Prior to her exclusive focus on the biotech industry, Tonya co-founded a nonprofit dedicated to rare diseases, through which she contributed to the passage of legislative landmark legislation in Texas for individuals impacted by sickle cell disease. She continues this work through policy advocacy and strategic engagement in communities. Additionally, Tonya is a member of the Women in Life Sciences executive team.
