Her Story
About Tonya
I made a significant career change by going back to school in my 30s as an untraditional student. It took about 8 years to reach my current position in wealth management, where I've now been for about a year. In my role, I work with investments, purchasing and selling CDs for clients. Before transitioning to wealth management, I worked at a law office where I handled trust work. What motivated me to get into this field was to prove that I could do it - I'm naturally good at numbers and wanted to apply my gift and see how far I could take it. My most significant professional achievement is accomplishing this entire career transformation as an adult, changing careers midlife and learning something completely new.
