I have worked in medical fields my whole life, starting summers at an x-ray clinic front desk, then pharmacy durable medical equipment, and 10 years in physical therapy billing appealing insurance denials. I moved to dental for more patient interaction, started at front desk, became office manager for 5 years, and now for 5 years in integrations at Lumio Dental where I train new offices and help open them seamlessly.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
You are the master of your own destiny and you write your own story. If you want to do something, go after it. There are no boxes except in our own minds.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You are the captain of your own ship. Whatever you dream, you can achieve. Look for mentors who have done what you want to do, ask questions, learn from those who blazed the path, and don't be afraid to chase your dreams.
