About Tori
Tori Levitt serves as the owner and concierge of Doolittle's Doghouse, a pet care service based in Scottsdale, Arizona, that provides cage-free boarding in private homes with private hosts as well as in-home pet sitting and private training lessons for dogs. She founded the business after a 30-year career as a mortgage loan officer ended with the 2008 market crash, when a friend's request to watch dogs sparked the idea that grew into a company with a team of 35 to 40 pet sitters and hundreds of active clients across the Greater Phoenix area. Levitt wrote and published the book The World According to Dog on Amazon in 2019, drawing from her personal experiences caring for pets and the life lessons they taught her. She emphasizes building authentic relationships through presence, integrity, honesty, and a no-judgment approach, values she credits for her success along with doing what she loves and finding positive solutions. Levitt advises young women entering the industry to go forward with faith, trust their path, and make bold steps to grow, noting that breaking out of one's comfort zone is liberating and essential for progress.
