Toya Owens Shepard

Toya OwensShepard owns First Impression Training Solutions, a company she founded in 2000 to deliver professional development training to corporations and educational institutions. She has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston for nine years in human resource development and recently secured an adjunct position at San Jacinto College teaching logistics and supply chain. In her primary role as Assistant Director in Procurement Services at the University of Texas Health Science Center, a position she has held for four years after prior service at UT MD Anderson, she leads a team of eight in contract negotiation, requests for proposals, and supplier engagement across the institution. OwensShepard holds a BBA in Business Administration from Texas Southern University and an MS in Human Resource Development from the University of Houston.
