Tracee Meyers

I transitioned into real estate property management about 2 and a half years ago after spending over 10 years in the fitness industry. I was looking for something different and new - I've always been very curious to learn new things. I had always been interested in being a leasing agent from when I lived out west, and the timing was right. Now I'm a Marketing Manager overseeing a team that I grew from 1 to 4 people. My favorite part is dealing with websites - I love working with UI and UX and user experience, diving into web design and the back end, working with CMS systems. The nerdy part of marketing is actually my favorite. We handle over 40 properties across southeast Wisconsin, from market rate conventional apartments to affordable income housing and senior communities. We also have an extension doing construction, development, and single-family home building. I handle everything from graphic design updates to website maintenance, budgets, and strategy. Recently, I've focused on creating resources for our property managers - social media templates, resident event ideas like ice cream socials - to help them succeed. I consider myself self-taught and a jack of all trades. I taught myself the whole Adobe Creative Suite and have done consulting work on the side for everyone from dive bars to professional lawyers and dentist offices. My experience is where I really shine through.
