About Tracey
I'm the marketing manager or director of marketing at the TCT Design Firm, a family business started by my mom Teresa Ann Harvey in 2013. I create marketing, branding, and public relations campaigns, design websites, social media graphics, and print materials like banners and backdrops for clients including small businesses, nonprofits, AARP, and others. I earned my marketing degree from Howard University and am self-taught in graphic design. Before joining the family business, I worked nine years in human resources handling medical leave and unemployment claims, which taught me patience in working with people.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to God, family, and friends.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Secure your financial future. Don't have an expensive hobby. Price for profit.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is the economy. People are very conscious when they have events. Make sure you show value because you're competing with everyday expenses.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Treating people well and supporting people with their dreams.
