Her Story

About Tracey

I have devoted more than 30 years to ministry—a calling I deeply love, even through its challenges. My work spans a wide range of responsibilities, including managing administrative operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the ministry functions with excellence. I also oversee the preparation of weekly podcasts and broadcasts, handle financial matters with care, and coordinate outreach events to ensure they are effectively staffed and executed.

A central part of my assignment is coaching and counseling women, equipping them with the tools they need to overcome obstacles and live empowered, victorious lives. It is a continual blessing to support others in reaching their goals and stepping into success.

One of my most meaningful accomplishments is earning my doctorate. I began my educational journey in 2010 and completed it in 2019, a season that required perseverance and faith. Following the loss of our second son to heart failure in 2009, I faced significant challenges, but with the support of the Holy Spirit, my husband, family, professors, and peers, I was able to press forward and achieve this milestone. I am deeply grateful for that journey and the strength it produced in me.

Ten minutes with Tracey

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute most of my success, of course, to God, my Heavenly Father. I also attribute it to my husband, who has been a faithful husband, a beautiful, loving husband, and one that supports me in whatever endeavor I choose to go through or choose to pursue. He has been there supporting me throughout my journey.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received was to be myself and allow the talents, the abilities, the giftings that I've been naturally given by God to just shine through. I should let others see these gifts so that it will bless their lives.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My first piece of advice is to remain prayerful. Make sure it’s not just a personal desire, but a genuine calling. Take time to seek clarity and confirmation.

Then, follow your heart—but not just in an emotional sense. In a spiritual context, your “heart” is your mind—your thoughts shaped and guided by God. Pay attention to what He is placing within you and the direction He is leading.

Peace is your indicator. Where there is true peace, that is where you should move. If you find yourself going back and forth between options, continue in prayer and don’t rush the decision.

But when peace settles in and your mind is steady—when nothing can pull you away from what you sense you’re called to do—move forward with confidence and commitment.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Women in ministry still face challenges, many of which stem from the reality that ministry has historically been male-dominated. While there has been significant progress over the years—with more opportunities for women to preach, pastor, and serve in various leadership roles—there are still barriers, especially within more traditional churches and organizations.

That said, there is real growth and movement. Women are becoming more widely accepted across different areas of ministry, and the landscape is not as restrictive as it once was. There is a greater openness to women not only participating, but leading.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunities now available—access to higher education, positions of leadership, and the ability to serve beyond supportive roles into influential ones. Women are no longer limited to the background; they are stepping into their calling as leaders, pastors, and voices of impact. For that, I, along with many other women in ministry, am truly thankful.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me are authenticity, honesty, and integrity. These are the principles I strive to live by every day.
