Her Story

About Tracey

Tracey Rogers is a consulting astrologer, certified life coach, and diversity and inclusion consultant operating three distinct areas of practice under her business. She has been practicing astrology professionally since 2013, drawing on a family legacy of seers on her father's side and a lifelong interest in the subject that began in childhood. Her work with astrology clients inspired her to pursue certification as a life coach to help them apply insights from readings. As a lifelong activist since high school, Rogers expanded her efforts into DEI consulting to assist organizations in creating diverse and inclusive environments. She is a member of the Mount Airy Community Business Association in Philadelphia, where she volunteers for block parties, vendor events, and broader philanthropic work. Rogers is currently pursuing a PhD program as she seeks greater stability and a pivot in her career path.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would definitely advise a woman to remember her why. I think that it can be very easy to get caught up in the pressure that comes with entrepreneurship. It can be easy to lose sight of your intention making such a big decision, which comes with a lot of work. And so, I think when we can ground ourselves in the passion and the why we're choosing to do the things that we're doing, it insists on maintaining some level of life balance, so that the passion remains a passion, and we're actually being of impact in ways that are authentic to us and rooted in our gifts and talents instead of trying to keep up with the pressure of everything from influence to social media presence to marketing. And so, I would just encourage a woman going into this to remember their why, and to stay anchored in that, so that they can remain tethered to whatever their mission and goal may be. In many ways, the why can also be your compass, right? Because if the why is not being met, then that means that something needs to change.
