Her Interview
Ten minutes with Tracey
01What do you attribute your success to?
My faith in God is what I attribute my success to. I have battled insecurity but God's love silenced those lies and gave me confidence. I could have given up many times but my faith kept me going. My goal is to empower women to find their true identity through that same faith.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I had a mentor that once told me, "Tracey, your reputation is your resume". Your skills may get you an opportunity, but your character, integrity, work ethic, and the way you treat people determine whether people will trust you with the next one. I’ve learned that how you show up matters just as much as what you know.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Always be authentically yourself. You do not have to bend to fit the mold. Your gifts always make room for you.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, faith, excellence, accountability, respect, and service. I believe in doing the right thing even when it isn't the easiest thing to do. I value treating people with dignity, keeping my commitments, and taking responsibility for my actions. I strive for excellence in whatever I undertake, while remaining humble enough to continue learning and growing. Most importantly, I want my work and my life to have a positive impact on others. For me, success isn't just about what I accomplish; it's about how I accomplish it, how I treat people along the way, and the legacy I leave behind.
