Traci Bowles serves as a Customer Service Representative at Cordova Safety Products, where she provides sales support, manages customer relationships, and helps ensure efficient order fulfillment and communication. With many years of experience in customer service, Bowles has developed a strong ability to resolve challenges, adapt to evolving business needs, and support both clients and internal teams. Her diverse professional background, which includes customer service, bartending, accounts payable, and operational support, has shaped her ability to connect with people, identify solutions, and deliver exceptional service.
Before joining Cordova Safety Products, Bowles gained extensive experience at Champion Promotion, where she was cross-trained across multiple departments under the leadership of CEO Mike Bowen. This opportunity allowed her to develop a comprehensive understanding of business operations and provide support wherever needed, eventually leading to her management of the key account for G’s Plus. In this role, she traveled twice a year for major conferences and boot camps, contributed to apparel and logo branding initiatives, and helped establish Shopify as a core business system through collaboration with coding and development teams.
After her time at Champion Promotion, Bowles briefly worked with FedEx before joining Cordova Safety Products, where she continues to thrive in a dynamic customer-focused environment. She manages customer orders, coordinates truckload schedules, communicates with key clients such as the New York Transit Authority, and has expanded her technical expertise through training on AI systems like ESCR, which integrates with SAP during corporate transitions. Bowles credits her success to her varied experiences, adaptability, and ability to navigate complex challenges while providing reliable support to customers and sales teams.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the diverse experiences I have gained throughout my career, including my time working as a bartender, in the restaurant industry, and at Champion. These roles have helped me develop strong communication skills, adaptability, customer service expertise, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with people from all backgrounds. Each experience has taught me the importance of dedication, teamwork, and continuously striving to improve. I believe my willingness to learn, embrace new challenges, and provide exceptional service has been instrumental in shaping my professional growth and success.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to believe in themselves and recognize their own value. Do not stand in your own way or underestimate your abilities. Take the time to acknowledge the full range of qualifications, skills, and experiences you bring to the table, and do not remove yourself from opportunities before giving yourself the chance to succeed. Confidence, perseverance, and the willingness to advocate for yourself are essential to building a meaningful and successful career.
