Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my willingness to pivot with purpose and lead with a servant’s heart. Every chapter—from hospice care to entrepreneurship to caregiving—has shaped my perspective and fuels my commitment to building solutions that genuinely serve families and scale meaningful impact.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the strongest mentors I had, Kevin MacRitchie, CEO of Tactical Rehab, taught me to stop, pause, breathe whenever anything happens. Being a young CEO, I was overwhelmed at times and he taught me you have to slow down and handle situations one at a time. When you try to handle everything at one time, nothing gets done and nothing gets done well.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

In the caregiving industry, empathy and understanding are key to making it. So many people are caregivers that don't even acknowledge it. A lot of people in the sandwich generation - raising their own kids, yet now starting to have to care for their own moms and dads. That can be tough. The industry is thriving as AgeTech is moving further and further into the space to help more and more people. It's an exciting time. It's a wonderful field to know that you are truly making a difference in people's lives. I highly recommend it.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges in the Agetech industry right now is the lightning speed that is coming into the industry. So many fantastic innovations and technology. It can be overwhelming for caregivers and families. The key is finding ways to get all these wonderful resources to the end user (family/caregivers/patients).

The biggest opportunity is that this industry is growing massively every day. It's currently a $650B industry and is only getting bigger. It is ripe for new innovations, new technology and new people. It will only keep growing so now is a great time to join.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are faith, curiosity, balance, and growth—reflected in my love for reading, going to church, exploring new places through travel, and staying grounded through activities like horseback riding.
