About Traci
Traci Welp is a corporate trainer and facilitator with over 20 years of experience in training and development. She has a background in data analytics, problem solving, manufacturing operations, and supply chain management, including starting a data analytics team from scratch. She also works with nonprofits on data and consulting. Traci is an adjunct professor at the University of Southern Indiana, where she teaches in the Master's in Public Administration department. She is the owner of her own consulting business, which she started about a year ago. She holds a Master of Public Administration with a nonprofit specialization from 2016 and an MBA with emphases in data analytics, engineering management, and supply chain from 2019. Traci volunteers on her parish council and with the St. Vincent de Paul Society. She attributes her success to hard work, strong family support, and her faith.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I would say my hard work. I've had strong support from my husband and my family. And thankful for that. Giving given opportunities that may have not have happened and I think just having hard work. God if anything I'd have done it without God.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I believe adding value to others. It's probably the best how we add value to others can be. You know sometimes we're trying to we have our own goals and dreams to accomplish but we don't want to forget to add value to others to help others grow and achieve.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I'm just trying to think of my children my girls. I've told them to be strong. Be kind work hard and make sure you're adding value to others.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I would say just staying strong sticking to my values because you know you're working with all types of people and making sure I communicate clearly and have clearly that when I am communicating I communicate with clarity so that I'm you know because you're talking to different audiences. Also one of the challenges I always say is quit taking it personal if something is said because we all receive information differently. So I would say communication is one of the biggest obstacles I see in the workforce.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I would say integrity. And hard work. Integrity hard work and kindness to others.
