She is active in a social media support group called Healing, Hope, and G, donates regularly to Purple Heart including cars, and has authored a book titled Still Standing: my survival story of pain, power, and redemption, available on Amazon. Ten minutes with Tracy

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received is to take my emotions out of it. When it comes to career and running a business, you have to take your emotions out even though I'm very emotional and compassionate.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Patience, because success doesn't come right away. Maintain integrity and never jeopardize it. Maintain professionalism in how you speak and dress. Have confidence, as it will get you far even without experience.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is employee availability and finding employees with good work ethics who show up on time and respect the job.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty, integrity, resilience, empowerment, leadership, excellence, and teamwork. Resilience is big because of my background. Push through and grow.
