About Tracy
Tracy Daniels serves as CEO and owner of True Beauty Supply Boutique, which she founded six years ago. After spending more than 30 years in corporate positions, including 14 years in the mortgage industry, she transitioned to the beauty retail sector to pursue her purpose of helping diverse women and men access quality beauty products affordably. The boutique provides wigs, extensions, hair products, barber products, and body jewelry while prioritizing customer interaction, education, and a positive shopping experience. Daniels has built a team of employees and mentors young professionals entering the workforce. She stresses the importance of thorough research, a solid business plan, and strategic location when starting a business, drawing from her own experiences and prior ventures.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It's possible. Research the industry and make sure that you build a business plan. Business plans are like our Bibles. Location is big. In the first 5 years, 80% of people fail because the research hadn't been done.
