About Tracy
Tracy Prigmore is the Founder of She Has a Deal, a platform creating pathways to hotel ownership and development by inspiring, connecting, and educating early-career and professional women through the annual Hotel Investment Pitch Competition and SHaD Fund I. She is also Managing Partner at TLTsolutions, a consulting practice specializing in healthcare management and real estate asset management. Prigmore's career includes prior work as a healthcare administrator before transitioning to full-time real estate in 2014, where she focuses on owning, operating, and developing hotels as well as other commercial real estate through syndication. She holds a master's degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Prigmore is a member of the Bow Collective and Delta Sigma Theta. She attributes her success to grit, the ability to take risks, having a goal and vision, and not giving up, and she emphasizes integrity and helping others by focusing on the next generation through her platform.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to grit and the ability to take risks. Having a goal and a vision, and not giving up, because it will be hard regardless. If I knew what I know today, I would have taken more risks earlier.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Get your education and learn from those who are doing what you're interested in doing. Take on more risk as a younger person. Do it, don't wait.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity and helping other people are most important. It's not all about you, it's about how you help others. I spend time focusing on the next generation, which is why I started She Has a Deal to share what I learned and lift while I climb.
