About Tracy
Tracy Shuey serves as Director of Property Management, a role she has held for more than 10 years across multiple companies. With 36 years in the commercial real estate industry, she began her career in 1990 as a receptionist at Transwestern and progressed through each level of commercial property management. Tracy has successfully built property management divisions, first for JLL in San Antonio and more recently for Partners Real Estate in Central Texas, where she leads and develops the division while supporting her team, strengthening client relationships, and pursuing new business. She attributes her success to her focused and passionate approach to real estate, along with the trust built through client relationships. Tracy is an active member of IRAM, BOMA, CREW, and Women We Admire. Her professional achievements include recognition as a Women Leader of San Antonio and as one of the top 50 women leaders nationally in real estate.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I dig into everything. I'm very focused and passionate about the real estate world and property management. The relationships I have with clients and the trust that comes from that are key, but it's really the passion that I have for real estate.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
There's a lot of growth opportunities within property management. Focus on your career path and partner with a great mentor.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenge is that property management is a competitive market, so winning business from another competitor. The advantages are having relationships with large clients that own a lot of real estate.
