Her Interview
Ten minutes with Tracy
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would like to say it is my children, my desire to be a mother that my children can be proud of.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of the best career advices that I have received is to always remain teachable. That is probably the best career advice that I have ever received. No matter what, no matter how much I can read and can retain from reading and learning, to always remain teachable and humble enough to know that I don't know it all.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The advice that I would give was to be patient, with themselves. To lean not only into their strengths, but their weaknesses, or their areas where they aren't as strong, as well. Because they will always have room for improvement.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Opportunities include room for growth. Challenges include working with people to convince them to change and improve their lives, particularly those struggling with substance abuse, drugs and alcohol, whose self-esteem and self-worth have been affected.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity and honesty are what are most important to me.
