About Tracy
Tracy Smith studied marketing and launched her own company in 2014. She runs sister companies Me and Mine, a personal shopping business centered on high-end brands with a style and lifestyle focus, and Cherry Pick for gift services. She is also a content creator who posts about brands, Christian topics, family, and cooking. Tracy attributes her success to her faith, believing God provided her logo, along with her writing gift, creativity in crafts, and talent for generating ideas. She has plans to expand with a brick-and-mortar store and additional ventures, including a non-profit supplying essentials to the homeless and a companionship service called Partner for events and outings.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I really feel that God was with me and gave me my logo, the last piece for my company prep. I have a writing gift, but I'm also very creative in crafts and things like that. I have a gift for ideas.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I've learned everything is an opportunity; God could always grow & bless you, even with a setback or result that's something other than your goal. You learn with experience & age; love, & know that God has a life in mind for you that's better than what you have in mind.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I think technology is still an opportunity, though you've gotta hold onto your values, & respect and appreciate others. Opportunities will present themselves if you have faith!
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I'm pretty old-school, & though I surely incorporate technology in my endeavors, I value traditions, history & heritage; learning from Momma, Grandma and Great Grandma.
