Her Story

About Tracy

Tracy Wheeler is an accomplished apparel and print designer, brand specialist, and entrepreneur based in Ohio with more than 20 years of experience transforming creative ideas into impactful visual solutions. Her career began in the amusement industry, working alongside her father and developing skills in design, screen printing, embroidery, and large-format graphics. Through hands-on experience and a passion for problem-solving, she built a strong foundation in understanding not only the artistic side of design but also the technical processes required to bring concepts to life. As the owner of Marley Bug Designs, Tracy specializes in branding, apparel design, print production, signage, and custom graphics for businesses and organizations. She also contributes her expertise to Amusement Wraps, where she creates large-scale vinyl graphics and wraps for amusement rides and concession trailers. Her unique ability to bridge the gap between creative vision and real-world production allows her to design solutions that are both visually compelling and functional. She continues to explore new technologies, including AI tools, digital design workflows, and product development through projects such as SevenLine Gear, which focuses on purpose-built products for first responders and outdoor professionals. Tracy holds an associate degree in Electronic Media from Ohio University Southern and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Arts from Ohio University. Throughout her career, she has embraced continuous learning, resilience, and adaptability, values shaped by balancing her education, family responsibilities, and entrepreneurial journey. Known for her creativity, curiosity, and commitment to helping others elevate their brands, Tracy continues to grow as a designer and business owner while connecting with organizations that value strategic thinking, craftsmanship, and innovative design.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to not wait until they feel completely ready. You do not need to have every skill mastered or have everything perfectly polished before pursuing opportunities. Take what you have learned, continue to grow, and be willing to step outside your comfort zone. Say yes to opportunities, even when you are unsure of exactly how you will accomplish them. Believe in your ability to figure things out along the way, embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, and trust that each experience will help you become more confident and capable.
