With a lifelong dedication to art, she began her creative journey in visual communications and marketing, later building a successful career in architectural and commercial photography before returning fully to fine art painting in 2015. Her multidisciplinary background informs a distinctive practice that blends narrative depth with strong visual composition, serving both private collectors and commercial clients nationwide.
Over the course of her career, Tracy has developed a strong presence in both the fine art and design worlds, exhibiting work in galleries and participating in international artist residencies in Italy, France, and Portugal. Her projects often explore socially reflective themes, including her notable “Solace of Threads” series, which examines the lived experiences of women across historical eras through immersive and emotionally charged imagery. She has also produced commissioned works and large-scale installations, and her practice continues to evolve through exhibitions and collaborations, including upcoming immersive gallery presentations in Santa Fe.
In addition to her studio practice, Tracy has a background in education, mentorship, and applied visual arts, having previously taught photography and contributed to community arts initiatives. She is recognized for her disciplined creative process, commitment to storytelling through visual media, and ability to merge fine art with marketing and conceptual design. Today, she continues to develop new bodies of work while engaging with collectors, galleries, and collaborative projects that reflect her ongoing exploration of memory, identity, and the human experience.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to doing what I love and staying committed to my passions. This alignment between my work and my interests has kept me motivated, focused, and consistently driven to grow and excel in my field.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've received is to always be a team player and to be clear and direct about what you're communicating and how you're communicating it. That really stuck with me because in the arts, especially in advertising, you have to be able to communicate. I was a really strong communicator, and that's what they focused on with me and encouraged me to do. That was the constant goal, to keep me communicating well because I was communicating a lot.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say stay focused. Don't allow yourself to get distracted, especially with other people's drama or drama around you. You have to be focused if you want to be good at anything. It takes perseverance. I watched that show 24 in 24 and saw all those chefs go 24 hours straight cooking, and I thought if I could apply that kind of focus to my life and my work, not on that strenuous level, but that level of dedication, I would be really successful. But you also have to make time for family and everything else in your life.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in my field are competition and jealousy. It's like any business world where you get talked about behind your back or people say you don't act right. I have my name on my van and people make comments like 'oh, that's white trash' or whatever, even though I live in the historical district, so I'm not too white-trashy. It's just always some slur behind your back, negativity in the sense of jealousy. People can't handle when one person can be so assertive and so determined.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important value in my work and personal life is doing what I love. I believe that when I am aligned with my passions, I show up with greater purpose, consistency, and fulfillment. This value guides my decisions, keeps me motivated, and helps me maintain a sense of balance and authenticity in everything I do.
